Made by hand in Morocco.
We use only high quality organic material. Our bags and clutchs are made from natural material of palm straw called wicker. Each of one leaf has been harvested, stripped and dried for several hours in the sun by hand coming coming from sustainable plantation in Moroccan desert. It makes our products environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic bags which always stays in our eco sytem.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Agathe Bousquet began her passion for fashion at an early age. She created boutiques in the south of France for her own brand, Izy. For many years, she was part of the renowned brand Cacharel, leading. the Paris showroom and serving as the director for the United States in New York. During one of her trips to Peru, she met female artisans who inspired her to create her own brand concept.
The Undertropic offers a line of beach products designed by Agathe, born out of unique encounters, magical places, and bazaars she wouldn’t miss for anything in the world.
Each purchase helps us to support a stable wage to our Female artisanale which can help them to provide for their families.

Being responsable is part of what we do. We are empowering women by working with a family community females artisans which can gain income while maintaining a time-honored artform. Surrounded by their cultural heritage, the artisans are practicing their traditional crafts through generation after generation since their young age. With authenticity and passion they put through, each of our accessories is creating with Love.
